J. Cole Fan Who Threatened to Shoot Little Sister on Twitter Under Investigation by Police

The stupid, irresponsible, possibly batshit crazy, but mostly stupid J. Cole stan who foolishly pointed a gun at his little sister and threatened to kill her if J. Cole didn’t retweet him is … dun, dun, dun … being investigated by the police.

Note to you dumb asses who like to post your nonsense online: We can see y’all. There are consequences, you damn fools.

More from TMZ:

A rep for the New Braunfels Police Department in Texas tells us, they have opened an investigation into the 19-year-old responsible for the tweet … after the picture (showing the fan aiming a gun at his sister’s face) was brought to their attention.

The rep says the teenager in question “is cooperating and it seems this was just a bad lapse in judgment.” Police say the gun in the picture is a BB gun, not an actual handgun. The rep adds, “For now this is still an open investigation, and for the time being no charges are being filed.”

As for the teenager — we spoke to the kid, and he has profusely apologized for sending the message, telling us, “I’d like to apologize to America for the photo and to put J. Cole in that position. It was all a joke.”

He added, “It was an unloaded BB gun and my sister was in on it. I only tweeted it because I didn’t expect a response. Mr. Cole please don’t sue me. I want to formally apologize more to J. Cole and yeah my mom made me delete my twitter until I fixed it.”

Now I’d love to know whether or not the boy’s parents pistol whipped him with that very BB gun.

Chris Brown Cleared of Assault; Charged with Hit and Run

Deanna Gines better run and hide now that it’s been proven she lied her ass off when she accused Chris Brown of assaulting her last weekend at a club in Southern California.

The owner of the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim told TMZ, ”Based on the information which we have gathered from our security company, mall security, and other party goers which were at HEAT on Saturday night; It is apparent that the alleged incident regarding Chris Brown is false.”

If you listen very, very closely you can hear thousands of Team Breezy members cursing out Deanna in six different languages.

Worse, it wasn’t even Chris who misbehaved in the club; it was her ass. The owner added that Gines was taken out of the club by security for bad behavior and when they arrived to escort her out Gines “took off her heels and threw them at security.”

I’m assuming Deanna needs to pay her rent on the 1st and is worried about insufficient funds. Or she wants a reality show. Maybe she wants to be famous. Whatever it is, she’s wack and we hate her, right?

I mean seriously, how dare anyone make me feel bad for Chris Brown? Boo, hiss. Boo, hiss, boo.

However, there is some bad news for Christopher Maurice: he’s been formally charged with a hit and run.

Man, oh man:

We’ve learned the L.A. City Attorney has filed 2 criminal charges against Brown, in connection with a minor accident last month where Chris rear-ended a Mercedes and allegedly refused to fork over his driver’s license number and gave bogus insurance info and then left the scene. The City Attorney has charged Chris with hit-and-run — for leaving the scene without exchanging proper information.  He’s also been charged with the crime of driving without a valid license.  The crimes are punishable by a maximum of 6 months in jail for each offense.

We’ve also learned the City Attorney will refer the matter to the L.A. County D.A. for a possible probation violation in the Rihanna beating case.  Worst case scenario — if the judge in that case concludes Chris broke the law and thereby violated his probation, he could be sentenced to prison for 4 years..

D.C. Teen Fatally Stabbed at Cookout Over a Piece of Chicken

This story is like a racist’s wet dream: Black people killing each other over chicken. Yes, sadly, a teenage boy was killed in Southeast D.C. at a cookout over some bird. Seriously. That happened.

Ernest Hart was at a family cookout when the 17-year-old got into a fight with Antonio Shaw, 25, over some damn chicken. Shaw reportedly stabbed Hart in the neck. He then fell to the ground as blood dripped down his neck. He was subsequently rushed to the emergency room where he died.

Shaw was said to be a family friend, though clearly not that great a one as presumed. He has since been arrested and charged with second degree murder.

Of all the reasons to die, I’d hate for my write up to be, “Yeah, some jackass killed me over a piece of chicken. The big piece.” Like, what the hell is wrong with people? How hungry and hateful does one have to be to strip someone of their life over some meat?

Make it stop.

Lil Snupe’s Alleged Killer Turns Himself in to Police

The man who is believed to have shot and killed Louisiana rapper Lil Snupe has reportedly surrendered to authorities and has been booked into the local jail.

According to ABC News, 36-year-old Tony Holden was booked into the Winnfield city jail Tuesday (Jun 25) on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

A news release from the Winnfield Police Department stated that Holden has a criminal record and is a convicted felon, and that his bond had not been set.

Here is a photo of Holden being taken into custody by Winnfield Police Chief Johnny Ray Carpenter:

As we reported last week, Lil Snupe was fatally shot on June 20th, just one week after his 18th birthday.

According to the Associated Press, the shooting happened after an argument broke out while Snupe was playing a video game at a friend’s apartment. Snupe, whose real name is Addarren Ross, was reportedly shot twice in the chest, and when EMS workers arrived, he was pronounced dead on the scene.

“We are told they were betting on a video game … Supposedly, he (Holden) robbed him (Ross) of money,” police Lieutenant Charles Curry told The Shreveport Times, which explains the robbery charge.

Having recently signed a record deal with rapper Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers label imprint, Lil Snupe was on his way to making a name for himself in the Hip Hop industry.

Snupe managed to get Meek Mill’s attention one day, and handed over his mixtape to him. He was signed to Dream Chasers 20 minutes later. Describing the moment to MTV, Snupe said, “He was in a van, they was finna pull off. And I went and knocked on the van, on the window. They let the window down, grabbed the mixtape and it was like 10 minutes later, 20 minutes later they called me.”

Meek Mill explained to MTV that the reason he signed the young rapper, who was just 17 years old at the time, last October was because he was impressed with his flow and wanted to help him improve his talent even further. “I seen potential in him,” he said.

Before his untimely death, Lil Snupe released a couple of mixtapes, his biggest being “R.N.I.C.”, which got over 50,000 downloads on DatPiff. But what Snupe was really known for was his ability to kick a dope freestyle any time, any place, against anyone.

Check out a few examples here:

And here are a few tracks from his mixtape:

In honor of Lil Snupe’s life, Meek Mill released a heartfelt video tribute featuring footage of the slain 18-year-old performing for packed crowds, freestyling and joking with his friends. Watch that here:

Tony Holden seen here in his June 25th 2013 mugshot

As for Lil Snupe’s accused killer, Tony Holden, his criminal record includes previous arrests on several drug charges, mostly involving cocaine, as well as one count of forcible rape, another count of second-degree kidnapping, and two counts of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.

While Snupe’s alleged murdered has been arrested, Lt. Curry said the investigation into his death continues.

His funeral is scheduled for Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in his hometown of Jonesboro, Louisiana at Jonesboro-Hodge High School, where Snupe attended as a student.

In what is undoubtedly a sad day for people of color across America, George Zimmerman has been found not guilty for the death of Trayvon Martin.

The case of Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman has rocked and gripped the nation for the past year. And now, it has abruptly come to an end on late Saturday evening.

A jury of six women found George Zimmerman not guilty of second-degree murder or manslaughter in the case of Trayvon Martin’s death, reports CBS News.

The jury deliberated until late Saturday night after Zimmerman’s defense wrapped up closing statements and the prosecution concluded rebuttal arguments Friday. Zimmerman, 29, was charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin during an altercation last year in a Sanford, Fla. gated community. Zimmerman pleaded not guilty, claiming he shot the teen in self-defense.

Already, the verdict has provoked passionate responses from many popular celebrities and personalities.

The possibility of protests, appeals and all of that is likely, but there’s very little that can be done in the future to erase the emptiness that this not guilty verdict has left behind. What’s a 17-year-old black boy’s life worth in America? Apparently not very much, according to a jury of our so-called peers.

Lil Reese Arrested (Again) for Weed, Tells Chicago Police: “This Ain’t A Big Deal, I’m A Gangster!”

Rapper Lil Reese, an associate of troubled rapper Chief Keef‘s, was arrested over the weekend in a Chicago neighborhood for marijuana possession and violating the conditions of his bond — his third run-in with the law in just three months.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Reese (whose real name is Tavares Taylor) was hanging out on the sidewalk of an Englewood neighborhood Saturday evening when police saw him hanging out with other young men believed to be gang members.

After he was searched, police claimed to have found weed on him, along with about $2,000 in cash.

When officers asked him where the money came from, the 20-year-old said, “It’s mine, I got a little weed. So what?” He added, “There’s serious crime out there. This ain’t a big deal. I’m gangster.”

Though Lil Reese may have a point — there are, indeed, far more serious crimes out there in the world — that may not be something someone who is on probation should say to an officer of the law.

When he appeared in court Sunday, the judge set his bail at $10,000. The last time Reese saw the judge on June 23 (not even a month ago) he was facing a charge of misdemeanor theft and his bond was set at $5,000.

Reese, who has a record deal with Def Jam and is signed to Chief Keef’s GBE label imprint, was also arrested in Chicago on April 28th after he was positively identified as the alleged attacker in a video that was posted online last year showing him beating up on an unidentified young woman (who many believe to be his baby mama). According to court records, he’s pleaded not guilty in that case.

Emma Roberts Arrested for Beating Up Her Boyfriend Evan Peters

Emma Roberts was reportedly arrested in Canada earlier this month after she got into a fight with her boyfriend Evan Peters and gave him a bloody nose.

According to TMZ, 22-year-old Roberts, who is the daughter of actor Eric Roberts and also Julia Roberts’ niece, got into a heated argument with Peters in their hotel room in Montreal, Quebec that ended up with the pair physically assaulting one another.

Montreal law enforcement sources said someone called police to report a fight in Emma and Evan’s hotel room, and by the time police arrived, Evan had a bloody nose and a bite mark. Apparently Emma had the upper hand in the fight, because she was arrested on the spot, but she was released just a few hours later because Evan didn’t want to press charges.

Sources close to Emma tell TMZ … Emma and Evan were hitting each other and she was arrested because he had obvious physical injuries. The sources deny Emma bit Evan.

Emma Roberts, a former Nickelodeon star, and Evan Peters, best known for his roles on “American Horror Story,” have been dating since 2012.

Last seen together at the “Lone Ranger” premiere back in June, Emma and Evan are said to be back together and are set to star alongside one another in “American Horror Story: Coven,” the FX series’ upcoming third season, set to premiere in October.

Shocking Video Shows John Henry Spooner Shooting Darius Simmons in the Chest, Killing Him

Have you heard about the story of 13-year-old Darius Simmons, an unarmed black boy who was SHOT AND KILLED by his 76-year-old white neighbor John Henry Spooner last year, and it was all caught on tape?

In May 2012, a mere three months after Trayvon Martin was killed by crazed neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman, a man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin did the same exact thing to another young black boy, who was just four years younger than Trayvon.

The man’s own surveillance cameras show him confronting the teen on a sidewalk outside their homes, waving a gun at him and firing into his chest from just a few feet away. The wounded teen clutches his chest and immediately flees from the cameras’ view before collapsing in the street, where his mother, according to her sworn testimony, held him as he took his last breath.

The shocking video footage was shown in court Tuesday as evidence in the trial of John Henry Spooner and was published on YouTube by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

WATCH HERE:

Simmons’ mother, Patricia Larry, testified in court on Tuesday that Spooner had accused her son of breaking into his home and stealing his guns. She said Spooner warned her to call 911, and also told her that he’d teach her son not to steal, then fired the shot that struck the boy in the chest. As the teen turns to flee, the video shows Spooner appearing to fire a second shot and eventually fades out.

Patricia Larry holds an old, undated photo of her son Darius Simmons showing him when he was much younger.

The longer version of the video that was exhibited in court this week shows Larry running past Spooner in pursuit of her son. She testified that by the time she caught up to her son, he was lying on the ground and she could only feel a very faint pulse in his neck.

“Then I pulled his shirt up and I (saw) he had a bullet hole in his chest,” she said tearfully. “He took one more breath and that’s it.”

Spooner has been charged with first-degree, intentional homicide and could face life in prison if he is convicted, unless the jury determines that he is “mentally ill” and acquits him.

For what it’s worth, after the shooting, police searched Simmons’ home and didn’t find ANY of Spooner’s weapons.

More from the Associated Press:

The defense has conceded that Spooner fired the fatal bullet at Simmons as they argued on the sidewalk. But defense attorney Franklyn Gimbel said the two issues for the jury to decide are whether Spooner intended to kill the boy, and whether Spooner was suffering from mental illness that prevented him from knowing right from wrong at the time.

Richard Martinez, one of the Milwaukee police officers who responded after the shooting, testified that Spooner offered an unsolicited confession upon his arrest. Martinez said he ordered Spooner at gunpoint to drop his weapon and Spooner bent down and laid his handgun on the ground.

Martinez testified that he was handcuffing Spooner when Spooner said, “Yeah, I shot him,” referring to the teen. Martinez said Spooner had another bullet in his pocket. Martinez’s partner, Michael Urbaniak, testified that he and Martinez placed Spooner in the back of a squad car while they investigated the scene. While being detained, Spooner commented that he had reached his breaking point and that his house had been broken into two days earlier, Urbaniak said.

The officer said Spooner claimed he knew the culprits were the kids who lived next door, and that they were part of a black family that recently moved next door and had caused nothing but trouble. Spooner is white.

Prosecutors showed a video of police interrogating Spooner, in which he acknowledges shooting Simmons and said he did it because he wanted his guns back. He noted that he’d been burglarized on multiple occasions.

Larry, who has sat in the front row of the courtroom since the trial related to her son’s death began Monday, refused to watch the surveillance video. She stared straight ahead with moist eyes. Three jurors watched the video with their hands over their mouths.

Other police officers who testified included Lori Borchert, who responded to the burglary report two days earlier. She said two windows on Spooner’s home were broken and Spooner told her four shotguns were missing.

The day after the burglary, Spooner called Borchert and told her that his surveillance video captured images of the suspects. She said she viewed the video and that it showed two different black teenage males coming from the area of Simmons’ home and moving toward Spooner’s home.

She said she didn’t arrest anyone because there wasn’t enough probable cause. She said the faces on the video weren’t clear, and the teens didn’t appear to be holding any of the missing guns.

Gimbel, who limited his cross-examinations, told jurors during opening statements he intends to raise questions about whether Spooner actually had the requisite intent to commit homicide.

“We will focus on what was Mr. Spooner’s intent when he pointed the gun and pulled the trigger,” Gimbel said.

If only we had video footage of the night George Zimmerman chased down and killed Trayvon Martin…

Kanye West Facing Felony Charges After Attacking Photographer at LAX

In news that should surprise no one, Kanye West went “postal” on a photographer at LAX early Friday, according to an exclusive report from TMZ.

The gossip site reports that Yeezy was on his way out of the Los Angeles airport Friday afternoon when he was surrounded by paparazzi who were snapping pictures. But one photographer decided to ask Kanye some questions, and we all know what happens when you ask Kanye questions. Bad things, is what.

Kanye told the man not to ask him questions, but he kept going — and Kanye attacked, attempting to wrestle the camera from the guy’s hands, and the man fell down. Kanye then immediately jumped into a waiting car and took off. Paramedics and police rushed to the scene.

This is “the scene”:

After the “attack,” the photog was taken to the hospital.

Here’s a video of the “scuffle” and another view from the photog’s POV:

Police are said to be investigating the fight, as Kanye has been named a “felony suspect” in the incident.

According to TMZ, police believe Kanye committed an “attempted robbery” when he tried to take the photog’s camera as he assaulted him. The case has been transferred to something that sounds really serious called the “Robbery Homicide Unit” and cops are said to be putting a file together.

Last week, while he was out of the country, Kanye made headlines when yelled at a TMZ cameraman who called themselves “field reporter”, telling them “DON’T TALK TO ME …EVER!” But why does Kanye West hate the paparazzi so much?

Apparently, this is why:

Sources close to Kanye tell TMZ … after he started getting serious with Kim Kardashian, he felt a couple of paps would cross the line and ask him inappropriate questions about their relationship in public. We’re told he started to feel like certain paps were “heckling” him.

Things escalated in October 2012 during a trip to Miami … when a local photog — not a TMZ guy — asked Kanye and Kim if they would be inviting Kris Humphries and Reggie Bush to their wedding.

Kanye was pissed … and, rightfully so, felt the photog was just trying to antagonize him.

Things got worse a few months later, after Kim announced she was pregnant — when another pap started hammering K&K about whether they would invite Ray J to the baby shower.

That, we’re told, was the breaking point — and from that moment on, Kanye decided to impose his “DON’T EVER TALK” policy on anyone with a camera.

So there you have it. But is Kanye seriously going to beat up EVERY SINGLE photographer that talks to him? Eventually, he’s gonna come across the wrong one and get his ass beat. So he’d better figure out a way to just ignore them and keep it moving before something regrettable happens.

John Henry Spooner Found Guilty in the Shooting Death of 13-Year-Old Darius Simmons

The Milwaukee man who shot and killed his 13-year-old neighbor after accusing the teen of breaking into his home and stealing his guns was convicted Wednesday in the teen’s death.

The jury, who deliberated for about an hour before finding John Henry Spooner guilty of first-degree intentional homicide, will now decide whether or not the 76-year-old was mentally ill when he murdered Darius Simmons.

Shocking Video Shows John Henry Spooner Shooting Darius Simmons in the Chest, Killing Him

Surveillance video from Spooner’s own security cameras showed him confronting Simmons on a sidewalk outside their homes in May 2012. Spooner waved a gun at the boy and fired directly into his chest from just a few feet away.

Clutching his chest, Simmons ran down the street, where his mother Patricia Larry, according to her sworn testimony, held him as he took his last breath. The shocking video footage was shown in court Tuesday as evidence.

According to the Associated Press, because he entered two pleas to his homicide charge — not guilty and guilty by reason of mental disease or defect — John Henry Spooner’s trial was setup to be conducted in two phases: the first to find out whether he was guilty of the homicide (check) and the second to determine whether he was mentally competent at the time of the shooting.

With the first phase complete, the second began with testimony from a psychiatrist hired by the defense. Dr. Basil Jackson said his examination of Spooner revealed a man with anger issues who periodically dissociated from reality.

Spooner’s daughter once brought home a kitten that he didn’t want so he took it into the basement and killed it, Jackson said. Spooner also used to choke and beat his late wife, the doctor testified.

The violence shows Spooner occasionally loses the ability to control his anger – as during the moments that he shot Darius, Jackson said.

“There was an eruption, a loss of control. And at that moment he was not able – at that moment – to make a judgment,” Jackson said. “It’s like he was on autopilot.”

During closing arguments, Spooner’s defense attorney Franklyn Gimbel didn’t deny that his client shot Darius Simmons. Instead, his argument is that Spooner didn’t mean for the gunshot to be fatal.

“This is not a case of whodunit,” Gimbel said. “It’s not a question of whether the behaviors of John Spooner caused the death of the young man – but what motivated it and what went on in his mind at the time is the crucial question.”

That’s probably what prosecutor Mark Williams said to himself when he heard that crock of bullshit.

Out loud though, Williams said that it’s impossible to watch the video without realizing that Spooner knew exactly what the hell he was doing, pointing out that Spooner not only walked out of his home and CONFRONTED Darius, but also aimed a gun at him and deliberately pulled the trigger.

“How is that not intent to kill?” he asked. “You can see the intent. Look at him (Darius) holding his chest. Look how close they are together. It’s point-blank range. Darius runs away and he shoots again.”

Larry’s attorney, Jonathan Safran, said the family was pleased with the verdict. “She’s cautiously optimistic as we move into this second phase of the trial,” he said.

During the second phase of the trial, the burden of proof will shift to the defense, which only has to prove “clear and convincing evidence,” rather than the stricter standard of “beyond a reasonable doubt.”

Additionally, a verdict requires agreement from only 10 juries, instead of unanimity from all 12.

Philadelphia Mother and Her 4 Young Sons Struck by Car While Crossing the Street

Samara Banks and her kids

A 27-year-old mother from Philadelphia and her four young children were struck by a speeding car Tuesday night while they were attempting to cross the Roosevelt Boulevard highway.

Samara Banks and three of her sons died, and the fourth boy remains hospitalized and is said to be in stable condition, miraculously only suffering a few scrapes, bumps and bruises, but no broken bones. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Banks had just visited her aunt and was on her way back home at around 10:30 p.m. when the accident happened.

As Banks and her children were attempting to cross the boulevard, which has no crosswalk, almost immediately after they stepped off the grassy median, an oncoming silver Audi sedan driven by a 22-year-old man traveling at an extremely high rate of speed struck them, sending Banks flying about 200 feet as a result of the impact.

Flip-flops, jewelry and a twisted stroller were reportedly scattered about at the scene of the crash. Banks was pronounced dead at the scene, as was her 23-month-old son Saa’Sean. Her 9-month-old son Saa’mir died about 45 minutes later at Albert Einstein Medical Center, and her 4-year-old son Saa’deem died at 4:45 a.m. Saa’yon, who is 5 years old, was the only survivor.

One of Banks’ aunts, Rose Williams, said her niece “was a beautiful person and she loved her kids. That’s why they were all with her.”

Samara Banks’ friends and family gathered at her home Wednesday morning and fondly remembered the loving mother and her sons. They said Samara, who worked at a daycare center, was very involved with her boys and was so invested in their education that she was always reading to them, talking to them and having them go through flash cards.

“This was the house where everyone could come,” if they had any problems, Nicole Holmes, a cousin, said outside Banks’ home.

Samara’s relatives said she knew how to keep her children well-behaved and entertained, and she would take them out to do all types of activities, like going to the library or the zoo, and she also watched television with them.

“We just found flash cards,” said Holmes. “She would pick up and go in a minute,” to take her children somewhere, her best friend Tyeisha Marshall said.

Nicole said Samara took her children everywhere with her, and always made them hold hands wherever they went. “That’s why all of them got hit,” she said.

As for the guy responsible for the accident, he and another man were arrested and are facing a number of charges, including third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, and they are both reportedly being held on $2.5 million bail. Police said they believed the men were drag racing.

Khusen Akhmedov, 23, of Lancaster, and Ahmen Holloman, 30, of Philadelphia, were arrested Wednesday night. Investigators believe they may have been drag racing. The pair also faces charges of homicide by vehicle, recklessly endangering another person, aggravated assault, simple assault and aggravated assault by vehicle stemming from the crash Tuesday night.

Florida Mom Uses Baby As Human Shield While Fleeing Police

A Florida woman who walked out of a Dillard’s with more than $200 worth of clothing hidden in a baby stroller is facing a number of charges — including child abuse — after she literally THREW her three-month-old daughter at police (after using the baby as a human shield) in a failed getaway attempt.

Police say 23-year-old Ashley Wright, of Pensacola, Fla. was spotted by a store employee with about $260 worth of adult clothes in her daughter’s baby stroller. When she left the store and got in her car, she was approached by a deputy who ordered her to get out.

She refused, obviously, and shouted at her husband to get in the car so they could leave. At one point, she “grabbed the baby carrier and held it in front of her screaming, ‘You will have to shoot through the baby to get to me!” according to a sheriff’s report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

As Wright cursed and screamed at a deputy, two other small children — a little 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl — were watching from the backseat.

MOTHER OF THE EFFING YEAR.

But if you think that’s bad, keep on reading:

The Pensacola resident then jumped out of the car and “began running away from it with the baby carrier,” which held her infant daughter. As a deputy closed in on her, Wright “threw the baby carrier…at me, about shoulder height,” the report notes.

After dodging the airborne carrier and the 14-pound baby, the deputy apprehended Wright, but not without a struggle. Wright, who was bleeding after she tripped and hit her head on the ground, shook her head from side-to-side, spraying deputies with blood. “Now you mother fuckers have my blood all over you bitches,” she remarked.

Thank GOD the baby wasn’t injured. What type of parent not only uses her infant child as a human shield, but also TOSSES her baby at a police deputy while trying to get away with a couple of stolen outfits, none of which were even for her children, mind you.

When Wright arrived for treatment at a local hospital, she was a lot more calm and explained to police that her “night of bad decisions” probably had something to to with the beers she drank earlier that day.

Wright admitted to stealing the clothes, but claimed “it was because her kids needed school clothes,” but the only thing she stole was a woman’s shirt and two pairs of “Miss Me” jeans, not children’s clothing.

In addition to felony child abuse for throwing her baby and using her as a human shield, Wright was also charged with petty theft and resisting an officer. She was reportedly booked into the county jail and her bond was set at $7,000.

Soulja Boy’s Goon Rappers Arrested After Robbing, Beating Up Fan and Posting Video on YouTube

Two rappers associated with Soulja Boy were arrested in Warwick, Rhode Island last Friday after police found out they had attacked two fans in separate incidents and posted a video of one of the incidents online, which was used as evidence in the case.

According to WPRI 12 News in Rhode Island, police were called to a gas station early Friday morning where they found a man who had claimed he had just been pistol whipped, and another who said he was assaulted at a nearby motel.

The victims said the incident was the last in a series of events that happened Thursday night throughout Warwick, Providence and Boston, and that a video of the assault could be found on YouTube.

According to the following narrative posted to the website CKHID.com, the second man was assaulted because he “disrespected” the suspects by saying he would rather meet Soulja Boy over them:

Apparently upset the fan said he was more interested in meeting Soulja Boy than them, the duo felt the claim was ultimate disrespect. The fan apologized for how it sounded but damage to the SODMG rappers egos was done and they were ready to fight.

“Bro, you just said you f**ked with my boy to get to Soulja” says the amped up 22-year-old, Jacorey Dejuan to the fan after punching him in the face.

Its his reason for sucker punching an unarmed Rhode Island youth in the face. After the statement, the camera man for the incident warns the young fan to get out their Motel 6 room. His tone a lot calmer and non-threatening, he forewarns the youth “Ay bruh, you got to get out bruh. You gotta get out bruh.”

As the young man walks to the door another member of the Soulja Boy associated crew walks up. As the victim reaches to open the door he’s assaulted again, punched 4 times by Ira Malcom aka “Lil Flo Malcom.” After dropping to the Motel 6 room’s floor from those hits, Dejuan and Malcom double team the scared Rhode Island youth. The two Atlanta men punch and stomp the victim, who tried various times to apologize for what he said. However, they felt he was ‘flexin.’

“Why you flexin on A.Goff Man?” says SODMG rapper to the camera as the beating takes place.

With that information, a police SWAT team entered the motel room where the suspects were staying and arrested 22-year-old Jacorey Dejuan Bryant aka “Zone1G (of Atlanta) and Ira Rophiel Malcolm aka “Lil Flo Malcolm (of Lithonia, Ga.), charging both men with robbery. Bryant was also charged with other crimes too, including two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (for the pistol-whipping) and malicious damage.

Another video posted to Lil Flo Malcolm’s Instagram account shows Zone1G (Jacorey Bryant) and another SODMG rapper, A.Goff, “checking” the assault victim about him being from the hood:

Police said Bryant and Malcolm were in Massachusetts promoting a rap album under the name “SODMG,” which is Soulja Boy’s record label imprint.

A word of advice to Soulja Boy: You might want to check your “artists” because whatever they do, your name is going to be thrown into the mix.

John Henry Spooner Gets Life in Prison for Killing 13-Year-Old Darius Simmons

The Milwaukee man who was found guilty of shooting and killing his unarmed teen neighbor will be spending the rest of his life behind bars for the murder, with absolutely NO chance of parole.

Just three months after Trayvon Martin was killed by George Zimmerman, 76-year-old John Henry Spooner approached 13-year-old Darius Simmons, who lived next door to him and wrongfully accused the teenager of breaking into his home and stealing his guns.

After the boy denied stealing anything, Spooner pulled out a gun and shot Simmons right in the chest in front of his mother. The shocking incident was captured on Spooner’s own surveillance cameras and the video was shown in court as evidence. Police said they searched Darius’ home after the shooting and found no weapons.

After he was convicted, Spooner’s defense lawyers claimed that he was mentally ill at the time of the shooting, but when the prosecution showed the jury the video of the shooting, they pointed out that it was deliberate, and Spooner knew exactly what he was doing.

After a short trial, Spooner was convicted of first-degree intentional homicide, and a judge sentenced the elderly man to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

A report from the Associated Press states that the judge could have allowed for the possibility of parole after 20 years, but he didn’t, citing Spooner’s lack of remorse and desire to also kill the teen’s brother … not to mention in 20 years, Spooner will be 96 years old — that is, if he even makes it that far:

Spooner, who has lung cancer and other physical ailments, will spend the rest of his life in prison.

While in court for his sentencing, Spooner spoke in a frail voice that was sometimes difficult to hear and reiterated that he felt he had little choice but to take the law into his own hands.

“They had to rob the house,” he said. “Why’d they do that to me? … They pushed me over the edge, I guess. I don’t know. As far as being sorry, I don’t know if I did right or wrong.”

Judge Jeffrey Wagner replied sternly: “I can tell you, you did wrong. You took the life of a child.”

The defense had argued that the killing might have been reckless but not intentional, and said Spooner didn’t mean for the shot to be fatal.

The surveillance footage showed Spooner confronting Darius on a sidewalk, pointing a gun at the boy’s chest and firing from a few feet away. Darius turned and fled, and then collapsed and died in the street moments later as his mother cradled him in her arms.

Spooner fired a second shot that missed. He tried to fire a third one but his gun jammed.

Spooner testified at trial against his attorney’s advice and said he killed the teen because he really wanted his guns back. He also acknowledged wanting to kill Darius’ older brother when he ran to his sibling’s aid as he lay dying in the street. But Spooner said he didn’t shoot the brother because he didn’t want to hit any of the others who had gathered around.

When prosecutor Mark Williams suggested Spooner killed Darius as revenge for having his guns stolen, Spooner replied, “I wouldn’t call it revenge. I would call it justice.”

Larry recalled those words from Spooner as she asked the judge to prevent him from ever being eligible for parole.

“I want him to be accountable for what he did to my son, Darius Simmons. I want him to have life in prison,” she said at Monday’s sentencing. “He showed no remorse and said justice was served. He is a menace to society.”

Kanye West Won’t Be Charged for Beating Up Photographer

Law enforcement sources told TMZ yesterday that Kanye West won’t be charged with any crime in connection with the incident last week in which the rapper attacked a photographer for asking him too many questions.

While robbery detectives for the LAPD are investigating the photog’s allegation that Kanye tried to steal his camera, sources say that it is very unlikely that Kanye will be charged with anything because they don’t have “proof” that he was trying to jack the paparazzo’s camera equipment. Well, except for that video evidence, of course.

Cops will reportedly send the attempted robbery file to the D.A. but they expect it to be rejected with days.

According to TMZ:

The next step — the file goes to the L.A. City Attorney for a possible misdemeanor criminal battery prosecution. But here’s why that won’t happen. We’re told Kanye is willing to ante up some cash to make the case go away, and it’s perfectly legal. It’s called a civil compromise and it’s done everyday.

This might sound crazy as hell, but I’m on Kanye’s side with this one.

While I don’t agree with him jumping on every photographer who speaks to him or asks him some ridiculous question (does he not know how to simply IGNORE them?), that particular guy is a known asshole who apparently makes a habit out of provoking celebrities.

Besides that, judging by the video footage showing the so-called “attack,” it looked like dude fell on the ground on his own, being all dramatic and what-not.

So yay for Kanye, this time.

Cops Ordered to Return Stripper’s $1 Million in Cash Taken During Traffic Stop

A Nebraska judge has ordered police to give back the $1 million they confiscated from an exotic dancer who was saving up the money to start her own nightclub so that she could get out of the stripping business.

According to ABC News, 33-year-old Tara Mishra, from Rancho Cucamonga, California had been putting away her earnings as a stripper for the past 15 years, ever since she started dancing, and she had given the money — over $1 million, all in $1 bills — to her friends to open up a nightclub in New Jersey.

In March 2012, Mishra’s friends Rajesh and Marina Dheri, of Montville, N.J. were pulled over for speeding in Nebraska, and when cops found the money in the trunk of their car — in $10,000 bundles tied with hair bands and in plastic bags — they suspected it to be drug money and confiscated all the cash.

But since police didn’t find any evidence of drug activity, and a K-9 analysis only turned up trace amounts of “illegal drugs” (probably cocaine) on the cash, a judge ruled that the money had to be returned to Mishra and her friends, with interest.

“The government failed to show a substantial connection between drugs and the money,” U.S. District Judge Joseph Bataillon wrote in a statement. “The dog sniff is inconsequential. The court finds the Mishras’ story is credible … Ms. Mishra did have control over the money and directed the Dheris to deliver the money to New Jersey for the purchase of the business.”

College Student Forgotten in Holding Cell for 4 Days Awarded $4.1 Million

A University of California San Diego student who was mistakenly left in a holding cell for nearly five days without food or water will reportedly receive a $4.1 million cash settlement from the United States Justice Department.

In April 2012, Daniel Chong, an engineering student at UC San Diego, was swept up by Drug Enforcement Administration agents during a drug raid at a friend’s off-campus house, where DEA agents seized 18,000 ecstasy pills, along with other drugs, several guns, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

After questioning, when DEA agents realized Chong wasn’t involved, he was told he wouldn’t be charged and would be released. But instead, Chong was placed in a 5-by-10-foot windowless holding cell, where he remained for the next four days without anything to eat or drink.

Desperate to survive, Chong says he drank his own urine, and by the third day, he was hallucinating. Believing he would die, Chong said he broke his glasses and carved “Sorry mom” onto his arm, but was only able to complete the “s.”

“I had to do what I had to do to survive,” he told NBC News last May. “I hallucinated by the third day. I was completely insane.”

Chong said he could hear DEA employees and people in nearby cells, and he even screamed to let them know he was there, but no one answered. He said he also kicked the door, but no one came to get him.

By the time DEA agents returned to Chong’s cell, they found him covered in feces, severely dehydrated and incoherent. He had lost 15 pounds and was hospitalized in the ICU for five days for dehydration, kidney failure, cramps, and a perforated esophagus due to him swallowing small pieces of glass in a failed suicide attempt.

“I didn’t think I would come out,” Chong said.

“This was a mistake of unbelievable and unimaginable proportions,” Chong’s attorney Julia Yoo told CNN, adding that Chong has returned to complete his undergraduate degree at UCSD. “He changed his major from engineering to economics and wants to finish school, pursue his career and help take care of his mother.”

Yoo also said that as a result of Chong’s case, the DEA has instituted a nationwide policy that places daily calls to agents to check on the well-being of prisoners in their cells so that something like this will never happen again.

Well, well, well. Look who’s back in the news again after yet another run-in with the law. Just weeks after his highly publicized trial, George Zimmerman was pulled over by police in Forney, Texas Sunday after he was caught speeding.

When asked by the police officer where he was headed to in such a hurry, the former neighborhood watch volunteer — who was recently found not guilty in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin — told him “nowhere in particular,” and also informed the officer that he was packing heat.

George Zimmerman Saves Family of Four from Car Accident

At some point during the stop, which happened just after noon on Sunday, July 28th, Zimmerman audaciously asked the cop if he recognized him:

Officer: “Where you headed to?”
Zimmerman: “Nowhere in particular.”
Officer: “Nowhere in particular? Why do you say that?”
Zimmerman: “You didn’t see my name?”
Officer: What a coincidence.”

The officer then instructed Zimmerman to put the gun in his glove box, and after conducting a routine warrant check and finding him clear, Zimmerman was let off with a warning. He didn’t say why he was in North Texas or where he was headed.

“Just take it easy. Just go ahead and shut your glove compartment. Protect your firearm OK?” the officer told him.

The entire stop lasted about five minutes and was all captured on footage that you can watch below:

While police are refusing to talk about the traffic stop, since the story broke, his infamous brother Robert Zimmerman tweeted this:

Beware, folks! Especially young black men. George Zimmerman is armed, presumably dangerous, and speeding off to “nowhere in particular.”

Did I mention that he’s armed?

Cleveland Kidnap Victim Michelle Knight to Ariel Castro: “You Will Face Hell for Eternity!”

The story of the kidnapped Cleveland girls has been one of the most horrific and shocking cases in recent memory.

Back in May, three women who had been missing for roughly 10 years, were rescued. It was discovered that they were being held captive by a man named Ariel Castro, who not only kidnapped them, but also raped and beat them.

On Thursday (Aug 1), at Castro’s sentencing, where he found out he would spend the rest of his life in prison, one of the women, Michelle Knight, gave a statement in court about her years in captivity and it’s just as unsettling as you’d expect. Knight spoke about how long each day felt while she was being held against her will.

“I cried every night,” Knight said. “I worried about what would happen to me and the other girls every day. Days never got shorter. Days turned into nights. Nights turned into days. The years turned into eternity.”

She also tearfully recounted how much she missed her son and how Castro brainwashed her into thinking no one cared about her.

“I knew nobody cared about me,” she said. “You told me that my family didn’t care.”

She also said that fellow victim, Gina DeJesus, “nursed me back to health when I was dying from his abuse. My friendship with her was the only thing that was good about this situation.”

Remarkably, Knight demonstrated strength and the ability to address Castro directly and basically tell him to “go to hell.”

“I spent 11 years in hell, and now your hell is just beginning,” she said to the 56-year-old. “I will overcome all of this that happened. You will face hell for eternity. From this moment on, I won’t let you define me or affect who I am. You will live. I will live on. You will die a little everyday…The death penalty would be so much easier. You don’t deserve that. You deserve to spend life in prison.”

32-year-old Michelle Knight was the only one of Castro’s three victims to appear in court to personally read her impact statement, while her fellow captives Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus submitted statements that were read by others.

WATCH MICHELLE KNIGHT READ HER STATEMENT HERE:

Michelle Knight’s FULL statement is below:

Good afternoon. My name is Michelle Knight. And I would like to tell you what this was like for me.

I missed my son every day. I wonder if I was ever going to see him again. He was only 2½ years old when I was taken. I look inside my heart and I see my son. I cried every night. I was so alone. I worried about what would happen to me and the other girls every day.

Days never got shorter. Days turned into nights. Nights turned into days. The years turned into eternity.

I knew nobody cared about me. He told me that my family didn’t care even on holidays. Christmas was the most traumatic day because I never got to spend it with my son. Nobody should ever have to go through what I went through or anybody else, not even the worst enemy.

Gina was my teammate. She never let me fall. I never let her fall. She nursed me back to health when I was dying from his abuse. My friendship with her is the only thing that was good out of this situation. We said we would some day make it out alive, and we did.

Ariel Castro, I remember all the times that you came home talking about what everybody else did wrong and act like you wasn’t doing the same thing. You said, at least I didn’t kill you. For you took 11 years of my life away, and I have got it back. I spent 11 years in hell, and now your hell is just beginning. I will overcome all this that happened, but you will face hell for eternity.

From this moment on, I will not let you define me or affect who I am. You will live — I will live on. You will die a little every day.

As you think about the 11 years and atrocities you inflicted on us, what does God think of you hypocritically going to church every Sunday, coming home to torture us. The death penalty would be so much easier. You don’t deserve that. You deserve to spend life in prison. I can forgive you, but I will never forget. With the guidance of God, I will prevail and help others that suffered at the hands of others.

Writing this statement gave me the strength to be a stronger woman, and know that there’s good — there is more good than evil.

I know that there is a lot of people going through hard times, but we need to reach out a hand and hold them and let them know that they’re being heard.

After 11 years, I am finally being heard, and it’s liberating.

Thank you, all. I love you. God bless you.

Terrence Howard Denies Beating His Ex-Wife: “I Really Can’t Harm a Fly…”

Terrence Howard has been generating quite a bit controversy as of late. The actor has been accused, once again, of assaulting his ex-wife Michelle Ghent.

According to TMZ, the Oscar-winner reportedly reunited with Ghent for a Costa Rican getaway but the trip turned bitter and the two got into a massive argument. Ghent claims that the 44-year-old then beat her.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor commented on the situation and he certainly doesn’t seem to think he’s the bad guy.

“Unfortunately I’ve tried to help people and it’s not necessarily in the same enlightened path, of trying to help themselves,” he said.

“I just wish the best for her, but as far as me harming somebody… I really can’t harm a fly,” he continued. “It’s completely against my spirit, but I’m so heartbroken, that you can see that doing it on a night like this is only for an attempt to try and hurt me.”

While the actor could be genuinely telling the truth, he could also be in denial, as many abusers are. He has also claimed to have been maced by Ghent during the incident

It is rather odd, however, that Ghent decided to join “The Butler” star on vacation, considering she filed a restraining order against him in December 2011. At the time, she claimed that Howard began abusing her just a week into their marriage (they wed in January 2010).

Call me crazy but that doesn’t should like the kind of person, you’d want to take a trip with.

But it’s never cool to blame the victim … even an alleged victim.
